A match made in heaven: Dior features Jennifer Lawrence in third campaign
The release of Jennifer Lawrence starring in Dior’s third campaign earlier on this week sent the online fashion world into a frenzy – and who came blame them? The pictures are taken by photographer Patrick Demarchelier, who has shot some of the most beautiful images of J Law we have ever seen.
Simplistic and stunning, the pictures show The Hunger Games and American Hustle star looking very soft and ladylike with gentle make-up. Her lips, toned only by a nude coloured lipstick and her eyes touched up with a slightly “smokey” effect, show her beautiful natural appearance. Teamed with lightly tousled hair in a boyish style, the shots are absolutely beautiful.
J Law is wearing pieces from the latest spring collection, including a blazer with a dogtooth style pocket on the right lapel and a brightly coloured snakeskin Miss Dior bag. In another image, she is modelling an adorable baby pink quilted Miss Dior bag and some of the other pictures are finished in black and white. She has managed to still make us want a whole wardrobe full of Dior, as well as wanting to take her effortless looks too.
In a video posted on WWD.com, Jennifer talks about the new campaign. She states: “Now I get the haute couture thing. It’s a big deal.” We’re glad, and we can’t wait to see even more of her wearing Dior in the future.
