Beaver: an all-natural organic haircare brand

Beaver: an all-natural organic haircare brand

Hectic lifestyles and the ever-increasing need to keep up with fashion have an extreme impact on our hair. Many of us are blissfully unaware that the branded products we use on a daily basis may actually contain harmful chemicals such as parabens, sulphates, phosphates and a host of other substances that can have a devastating long-term effect on our hair. Beaver, a new natural organic hair care brand, has now been launched, cutting out these unwanted ingredients.

The brand, created by Mark Hall and Martyn Greenwood, aims to produce hair care products that are organic but do not cost the earth. Mark Hall decided to investigate what goes into most hair products after buying his girlfriend a £50 bottle of shampoo. Intrigued to find out why it was so expensive, he did some research on the brand (and many others) only to find that all of them contained the same harmful chemicals that added no benefit, other than bulking the product out. He found that using organic ingredients was no more costly and was a huge benefit to the condition of the hair.  The fatty acids in the organic ingredients stimulate intracellular oxygenation, helping restore the vital balance of water and fats to your hair.

Mark Hall commented: “By using ingredients like argan oil or keratin — both of which are natural and valued for nutritive properties — and not using any cheap dangerous chemical ingredients in order to bulk the product out, we have created a range that is scientifically proven to enhance hair, long term.”

He added: “Keratin is the core nutrient which actually makes up every hair follicle, the science behind is simple — its mother nature! Why would you want to put anything else that is unnatural in your hair? For anyone who uses a colour dye which is unnatural or a hair straightener which adds excessive heat, using natural products is a must if they don’t want to damage their hair.”

Not only does this new product boost the life of your hair, it also boosts the growth in the economy. By using natural ingredients in their range Mark and Martyn are also helping to create work. The people of Morocco where the argan tree is grown now have sustainable jobs. So doing your bit for your hair really can help others.

The product will be sold online here and in all good salons. A launch offer for a 25% discount via the website is available with code: goodhair.
