Michelin-starred Cycene to welcome chef Chris Restrepo for four nights in August

Michelin-starred Cycene is set to host an exciting collaboration with Chris Restrepo of Kurisu Omakase next month. The four dinners, taking place on 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th of August, will bring together the creativity of both its executive chef Theo Clench and Restrepo. The two have designed a 12-course, seafood-led menu blending the standout dishes from their respective restaurants

The dining journey will begin in the ground floor bar, where guests can indulge in the signature Yoroppa-Mae-style sushi courses. From there, they will ascend to the kitchen, where the remaining dishes await, crafted with a four-hand approach.

This collaboration reflects Kurisu Omakase’s coveted reputation, noted for its immersive omakase experience. Restrepo’s innovative blend of Japanese techniques with his Thai-Colombian heritage has captivated diners at his intimate eight-cover counter in central Brixton.

Clench and Restrepo are united by a dedication to provenance and a service style that champions direct guest interaction, which will makes for a very special evening.
