John Terry named in England squad for World Cup qualifiers

England manager Roy Hodgson has announced his squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine and has handed John Terry a place, who seemingly has put his recent court case behind him.

There was also call ups for Michael Carrick, who missed out on a place at Euro 2012 and Sunderland’s latest signing Adam Johnson.

The Three Lions take on Moldova on Friday 7th September, in Hodgson’s first competitive game in charge before heading back to Wembley to take on Euro 2012 group opponents Ukraine on Tuesday 11th.
