Nils Frahm announces first UK tour since 2019 with 13 dates scheduled

German composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nils Frahm is returning to the stage with a 13-date tour across England and Scotland, marking his first series of performances in the UK since 2019. This eagerly anticipated tour will commence at the end of this month, featuring six sold-out shows at London’s Barbican Centre. Frahm, known for his mesmerising live performances that blur the lines between electronic, classical and ambient music, will showcase a mix of brand-new compositions alongside favourites from his extensive repertoire, following the release of his critically acclaimed album Music for Animals in 2022 and his first solo album in three years, Day, released in March.

Frahm’s return to the UK stage is a significant event for fans of experimental and avant-garde music, highlighting his unique talent for combining traditional instrumentation with electronic music elements. His concerts are celebrated for their immersive quality, with the composer effortlessly transitioning between pianos, organs, keyboards, and synths, creating an enveloping sound experience praised by critics.

For producers inspired by Frahm’s blend of ambient, electronic and classical textures, now is a great time to explore new ways to create a personal atmospheric music. Those looking to experiment with fresh sounds and develop a personal unique style, Unison offers a range of free sample packs and MIDI packs to access professional tools that can help bring music production to life, whether someone is creating ambient soundscapes or cutting-edge electronic compositions.

The tour will see Frahm performing in various venues across the country, starting with a sold-out show at Brighton Dome on 30th June and concluding with back-to-back sold-out performances at the Barbican in London on 14th July. Despite the high demand, with several dates already sold out, fans remain eager for the chance to experience Frahm’s live show, which has not only garnered critical acclaim but has also built a dedicated following through its powerful and emotive delivery.

For those unable to secure tickets or attend the live performances, a glimpse into Frahm’s captivating live experience is available through a recently released concert recording from the Philharmonie de Paris, showcasing the depth and breadth of his musical flair.
