HECK! launches minted lamb burgers and chorizo-style pork sausages for summer BBQ season

Yorkshire-based food producer HECK! has announced the release of two new products aimed at the summer barbecue market. The company’s Minted Lamb Burgers and Chorizo-Style 97% Pork Sausages are now available in supermarkets across the UK, including Tesco, as of May 2025.

The new Minted Lamb Burgers are made from 100% British lamb mince, lightly seasoned and flavoured with mint. Each pack contains two burgers (320g) and retails for £4 at Tesco. The Chorizo-Style 97% Pork Sausages, also new to the range and sold in a 400g pack priced at £3, are produced from British pork shoulder and seasoned with paprika and other spices to evoke Spanish chorizo flavours.

HECK! states that all its meat products are made using British meat and are gluten-free, targeting consumers with coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, or those opting for a gluten-free diet. The company’s broader range includes classic pork sausages, steak and butter burgers, chicken-based sausages and burgers, as well as vegetarian and vegan options such as meat-free chipolatas made from pea protein. These latter are high in protein and soy-free options, these too available in major supermarkets with a starting price of £3.

The burgers contain no unnecessary ingredients or fillers: to the British meat, they add only herbs, spices and seasoning. The Chorizo-Style 97% Pork Sausages can be described as a smoky sausage full of Spanish flavour, while the Minted Lamb Burgers offer a hint of mint without overwhelming flavouring. Both new products are also listed as dairy-free, alongside several other items in the HECK! range.

In addition to the new launches, HECK! continues to present existing products such as Chicken Italia Burgers, Steak & Butter Burgers, 97% Pork Sausages, and various chipolata sausages. HECK!’s latest offerings arrive as the brand seeks to appeal to a wide range of consumers, including meat eaters, flexitarians, vegetarians, and those with specific dietary requirements.
