Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher and Anna Faris lead comedy Spa Weekend

Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris star in Spa Weekend, a new comedy from Bad Moms writers and directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, which is set to arrive in UK cinemas this August.

The film follows childhood friends Jane, Coco and Sophie as they reunite for a luxury spa getaway in the hope of enjoying a relaxing weekend together. Their plans are quickly thrown into disarray when their unpredictable friend Mel unexpectedly joins the trip, turning a peaceful retreat into a series of increasingly chaotic misadventures.

Lucas and Moore write and direct the film, reuniting with the ensemble comedy genre that brought them success with Bad Moms and A Bad Moms Christmas. The cast brings together a quartet of established comedy performers, with Mann (This Is 40), Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Buteau (Survival of the Thickest) and Faris (The House Bunny) taking the lead roles.

The latest comedy from the filmmaking duo centres on long-standing friendship as much as comic chaos, using a luxury girls’ getaway as the backdrop for a reunion that doesn’t quite go to plan.
