Decanter Fine Wine Encounter returns to London in November with more than 1,000 wines

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter London will return to The Landmark London on Friday 6^th and Saturday 7^th November 2026, bringing together more than 130 producers and over 1,000 wines from wine regions around the world. The two-day consumer tasting, organised by the wine magazine Decanter, gives visitors the chance to sample a wide range of bottles and to meet the winemakers behind them. 

The wines on offer will range from well-known estates and sought-after vintages to lesser-known producers, as well as wines recognised in the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).

The main element of the weekend is the Grand Tasting, where more than 1,000 wines will be poured by exhibitors from around the world. Rather than following a set route, visitors can plan their own tasting itinerary and move between estates and regions at their own pace.

A separate area, the Cellar Collection, will feature wineries pouring several vintages of their labels, including mature releases and library wines. These are rarely available to taste side by side, allowing visitors to compare how a producer’s bottlings develop over time.

On Saturday, the programme will include a series of masterclasses led by experts. This year’s line-up features Dom Pérignon, Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Seña. Each session combines a guided tasting with talks from people closely involved with the wines.

On Friday, the event will host Winemakers’ Lunches, at which guests share a set menu with a winemaker. Each lunch is limited to six guests, and the informal format is designed to allow direct conversation with the producers while tasting their wines.

The event is aimed at both experienced collectors and general wine drinkers. Visitors can book a single tasting session or spend the day exploring the Grand Tasting and other parts of the programme.

The London event is now in its 29th year and will mark its 30th anniversary in 2027. Decanter also runs an edition of the Fine Wine Encounter in New York and has previously held it in Singapore and Shanghai.
