What to wear this Valentine’s Day

What to wear this Valentine’s Day

Whether you are going on a date with your partner, staying in watching a movie, or heading out on the town for anti-Valentines cocktails, you will need a killer outfit!

Here at The Upcoming, we have been debating about what is a good Valentine’s Day look. We have decided that the best trend to embrace this V-Day is the spring pastel trend.

By wearing this trend you will be embracing the cuteness of the cheesiest holiday of the year, whilst still looking chic.

To achieve this pretty look, stick to pastel colours such as pinks, blues and nudes. These colours complement each other well and all combinations work.

For an innocent look try A-line dresses and skirts. Or if you fancy a sexier take on this look, try trousers. Patterned trousers are very “in” right now and can easily be incorporated with this look! You can be as daring as you wish. To finish your outfit you can add sweet accessories like floral rings, heart necklaces and pastel nails.

It may be a commercial holiday, but at least we have a day where we can celebrate all things cliché. So bring on the heart-shaped candy – even if it is from mum.
