Coralie de Seynes is a budding young Parisian jeweller starting to find a name for herself in the mass market. After graduating from Esmod in Paris with a degree in fashion design, Seynes found herself working in women’s wear at Hermes – surely there is no better way to launch a career in fashion? During her time there, Seynes began to yearn for more, and soon began to work on her own jewellery line, highly influenced and inspired by her time spent travelling across the globe and visiting many different cultures and destinations, including London and Asia.

Coralie continued to create and develop her own brand, and released her debut collection in Paris in January 2009. Since then, this talented designer has worked with Bonpoint, as well as selling her original designs and creations in many stores, both in France and further afield. In 2011, things really started to look bright for Coralie, she won a jewellery-designing competition organised by a group of top industry professionals, including the assistant editor of Grazia, the director of Prêt a Porter Paris and designer Anne-Valerie Hash. This really got people talking and Coralie’s name began to be heard on the fashion pack’s lips.

Currently, Coralie is presenting her jewellery collection for Spring/Summer 2012, which she describes as easy-to-wear with a modern twist. Aptly named Collection Torsade (“Collection of Twists”), her creations can only be described as a delicate balance between retro, feminine and classic. Coralie mixes finely woven metal with soft, plaited leather, enamel and chunky chains in antique gold and silver-plated finish on brass, and the end result is to die for.
