Topshop hits the big screen
Topshop has decided to think outside the box this Christmas. Apparently, it’s not just ultra-fashionable clothes they specialise in making, but also short, sweet, sexy films. In order to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, the sensational star Kate Bosworth has starred in the video presentation of Winter Wonderland. Another shocker is that not only does this style icon act, but she also sings, and she sings beautifully, may we add! What other surprising presents are we going to unwrap?
The production has been directed by the one and only, critically acclaimed film director Michael Polish. With inspiration from the famous piano scene in The Fabulous Baker Boys, with Michelle Pfeiffer, it is clear that this clip is going to be a bauble off this Christmas tree.
In a statement, Kate has stated: “This project brings together two important aspects of my life: cinema and fashion.” And yes, the film doesn’t come without a startling outfit. Kate wears a stunning, custom-made, burgundy Topshop evening dress that she designed with the Topshop design team; no doubt it is an expression of class and sophistication.
However, it isn’t just Christmas that is the exciting honour of which this video has been made. In fact, as a result of the new Topshop store opening in LA, February 2013, the daring dress and smart shoes will be available on the website to be made to order. How exciting!
What’s more is that Topshop are hoping for this song to be a number one hit. The catchy track is being made available on iTunes, Spotify and Shazam, where fans will be able to download fabulous films starring Kate Bosworth and fantastic films directed by her famous fiancé, Michael Polish.
