Pure indulgence at Boutique Spa, Queensway

Pure indulgence at Boutique Spa, Queensway

We all love a bit of TLC from time to time, so The Upcoming was delighted at the recent invite to Boutique Spa, London’s newest luxury high-street spa in Queensway. It was a blissful event involving a facial and scalp treatment. IMG_0917

The spa’s friendly receptionist, Ilze, was there to offer a warm greeting and a complimentary drink before introducing Anna, the therapist who would be performing the treatments.  Anna spent some time presenting the range of highly acclaimed luxury ESPA products, which Boutique Spa works with. Each therapist working for the Queensway spa must have followed the unsurpassed ESPA therapist training. So be assured you are getting the best treatment. IMG_0913

Before the facial begins, the therapist must analyse the skin to understand what the problem areas are, and which facial is going to be most beneficial. This is definitely a favourable feature as the menu lists a range of diverse and appealing options, so it can be difficult to make a decision. “The Skin Radiance Facial is going to work best on your skin,” Anna chirped. This facial aims to revitalise the skin, giving a bright and more radiant appearance. It was now time to lie back, inhale the aroma and allow the calming music to cast a soothing spell.IMG_0914

After steaming the face, Anna carefully massages the shoulders, neck and face with the luxurious ESPA products. It soon becomes difficult to focus on the process as you are quickly sent to a world of tranquillity and serenity. It is approximately one and a half hours of complete sedation with every muscle in the body relaxed. The heavenly experience also involves the massage of sensual oils deep into the scalp and roots of hair. This is aimed to promote growth and health. It smells delicious too!IMG_0918

Sadly, all good things come to an end and it becomes time to return to the chaos of London. However, you can’t complain when you leave stress-free with radiant, silky-smooth skin. Before waving goodbye to the staff and sumptuous surroundings of Boutique Spa, a cup of the spa’s own exclusive tea is offered. Ilze kindly explained this comes in a variety of flavours, and is used to promote the removal of toxins following a massage.IMG_0920

The Boutique Spa is located in the city centre, in between Paddington and Notting Hill, and is open seven days a week with ideal opening hours for the modern hectic life we live. The spa offers a range of treatments, from facials, nails, massages and other various waxing and beauty treatments. All staff members are highly trained and their amazingly friendly service puts you at ease. The Upcoming strongly recommend Boutique Spa… go on, it’s time to treat yourself!
