The brainchild of Charlotte Henderson, The British Flat Shoe Company does what it says on the tin – they create flat shoes, wholeheartedly created and produced in Britain, using British materials.
A gap in the market appeared when the designer was looking for a pair of British-made flat ladies shoes that were both simple yet stylish. Creating a range of comfortable flat shoes, the online company makes each shoe by hand using the finest and softest leathers, which mould around your feet to produce ultimate comfort as you walk.
In a range of colours including hot fuchsias, silvers, plums and blacks, there is a shoe to suit every occasion – whether you are off to work, a walk in the park or going for a few drinks with friends.
Available in both suede and leather, the shoes also come in a reusable drawstring bag and are built with padding in the heels and inner soles for added protection and comfort. Each shoe is upholstered with three layers, two of which are leather whilst the other is a low abrasive moisture wicking lining for added longevity.
In addition, a limited edition range of flats with a Great British flag design are now available to buy, in a range of sizes from the website.
