Step back in time to 1764, when Ruinart created the first rosé champagne. Come and experience Ruinart rosé as people would have done in the 18^th century at the Ruinart Rosé 1764 Salon in the enchanting garden of The Goring Hotel. A two-minute walk from Victoria Station, The Goring features the largest (and most unexpected) hotel garden in London.

To celebrate the 250^th anniversary of Ruinart rosé, a unique and inviting space has been created in the luxury Belgravia hotel for three weeks from the 13^th June, so guests can enjoy Rosé champagne while learning about its history and heritage.

Inspired by 18^th century décor, the Ruinart Rosé Salon 1764 will house an antique apothecary, offering vials of scents for guests to smell and discover, helping them to delve deeper into the notes and tones of the renowned Rosé champagne. Guests can also become the subject of their own work of art with the in-bar artist, who will draw 18^th century style portraits for guests to take away with them.

We want the Ruinart Rosé Salon 1764 to transport guests back to the 18^th century to enjoy our champagne just as it was when it was first created.”

The Ruinart Rosé Salon 1764 bar at The Goring garden will open between the 13^th June and the 3^rd of July 2014. A glass of Ruinart rosé will be £17, bottles of Ruinart rosé will be sold for £85.
