Balmain’s army has officially turned into a family affair as their newly-released fall 2015 campaign features some of the most famous and dynamic duos.

Creative director, Oliver Rousteing, recognises the overwhelming influence that pop culture has on our society, and has selected four powerful sets of siblings, all of whom have a social media following to rival that of the brand.

After casting Kendall Jenner in a series of runway shows, the model finally stars in a Balmain ad campaign, and has taken sister Kylie under her wing – for the younger sibling’s first high-fashion moment. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, the two can be seen gazing into each other’s eyes, showing the “strength, support and love that family members can provide to one another”.

Supermodel Joan Smalls also returns to the French fashion house, this time with sister Erika, alongside Gigi and Bella Hadid; meanwhile, Armando and Fernando Cabral front Balmain’s new collection for men. The ads are glamorised depictions of sibling affection and “represent the fresh, diverse and open spirit of a new generation of fashion,” says Rousteing.
