As one of the few actresses who has transitioned from child star to leading lady with perfect poise, Watson has had her fair share of red carpet moments. Since shooting to fame at the young age of 10 as Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, Watson’s style evolution has been taking place for over a decade. She has a firm love of Chanel, first catching Karl Lagerfeld’s eye when she was just 17, and often opts for British designers including Christopher Kane, Burberry and Erdem.

At the premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2011, Emma Watson stunned in a floor length Oscar de la Renta gown. She paired the princess-worthy tulle gown with topaz drop earrings and her new pixie crop haircut.

As the face of Lancôme, Emma Watson was the guest of honour at the Lancôme Pre-BAFTA Party in London in 2012. The actress wore a red Valentino pre-fall mini dress with lace body and satin bubble skirt with a side bow. She kept her pixie crop sleek whilst she paired the dress with a bold red lip and strong feline eyeliner.

At the annual Elle Women in Hollywood celebration in 2012, Watson updated the classic little black dress in a nude and black Calvin Klein number. The satin dress featured a sheer nude panel across her chest and a layered skirt with a nipped-in waist. She completed the look with a chic updo and flawless, dewy make-up.

Watson opted for a black custom-made Prabal Gurung gown for the Met Ball in 2013. In a departure from her more demure style, the Brit actress wore the silk crêpe satin gown with cut-outs and a daring thigh-high slit showing off her tiny waist and slender legs. Black Rupert Sanderson T-bar heels, Fred Leighton earrings and a simple chignon completed the look.

At the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, Watson wowed in a Chanel couture gown whilst promoting her new film, The Bling Ring. The off-white silk dress featured a black sequinned bodice and cut-out back, making it a sophisticated and chic look for the star.

Watson wore a more daring and fashion-forward look, departing from her usual style as she opted for an outfit from the Dior Couture collection at the 71st Golden Globe Awards last year. She wore the red backless dress with slim black trousers, accessorising with Roger Vivier heels and Dior pearl earrings.

Finally at the UK premiere of Noah, Watson looked gorgeous in a stunning Ralph Lauren Collection white silk column halter-neck gown, which featured a pleated silk-georgette panel at the hip. Her brunette locks were swept into a neat updo, with a bold coral lip, Jimmy Choo clutch and gold Jennifer Fisher cuffs.
