Christmas is a time for giving and often people will go all out with presents ranging from jewellery to tropical trips. And whereas no one will say no to such extravagance there is something equally romantic and festive about a stocking filled to the brim with small presents. Stocking fillers offer the opportunity to gift people things they need, or things they didn’t know they needed. Below you can find some (out of the ordinary) stocking fillers for under £10.

Socks

If you go a Christmas without someone receiving socks, something has gone horribly wrong. The spirit of Christmas can be found in small, soft packages. Prevent this holiday disaster and get some socks wrapped ASAP. You can find Christmassy socks at Tesco for under £3, such as these black ones with Christmas print or a cat wearing a Santa hat. Harry Potter fans will be over the moon with these Hogwarts house socks in a four-pack for £2.50 at Primark. For cute animal socks check out New Look’s collection.

Home decor

Winter is a season with a very distinct style when it comes to home decor. You want to create a sense of warmth and cosiness. These stocking filler options are a little different but Christmas is a great opportunity to gift your friends and family homely decorations such as this house shaped blackboard from New Look for only £7.99. Fill this £5 picture frame from Ikea with memories before wrapping it as a nice surprise. This copper basket from Hema is only £6 and this cute perfume bottle from H&M retails at £7.99.

Candles

Help your friends and family get through the dark winter months by bringing some twinkling lights into their homes. Think candles with spiced scents and candles in warm colours. The £6.99 candles in glass holders from H&M come in many colours and scents; this red candle smells of cloves. At Ikea you can get a trio of block candles, such as these orange tones, for £7, or you can buy these tea light holders for £3. The rustic block candles from Hema are only £5 and this three wicked scented candle for £8 comes in a trendy copper glass.
