It seems summer is finally creeping in and we are thrilled! However, if you happen to expecting at this time of year, it can frankly be a nightmare finding clothes that keep you cool and comfortable without forcing you to compromise on your personal style. So, before you resign yourself to two seasons’ worth of leggings a baggy T-shirt, take a look at these maternity pieces that are both practical and stylish for the season ahead.

Floral print dress, £17.99, New Look

Stay cool in this blue floral dress with adorable ruffle sleeves and a handy adjustable waist.

Black denim dungarees, £42, Asos

Replace your leggings with these adorable dungarees. Throw them over your favourite top, add a pair of flats and throw your hair up for a quick and comfy spring look.

Striped maternity nursing dress, £52, Seraphine

The lovely loose fit on this A-line dress allows for plenty of room and is made from a breathable fabric, keeping you cool as the weather hots up. It also has lift up access at the front for nursing.

Le Bump oversized t-shirt, £10, Boohoo

We know we said you won’t have to wear baggy T-shirts for your entire pregnancy, but if they’re as cute as this one, go ahead!

MAMA long jersey dress, £19.99, H&M

You’ll have days where you want head-to-toe coverage but trousers are just not an option. Enter the maxi dress. Made from a lightweight jersey material, this floor length dress is perfect for providing coverage.

Striped knot dress, £46, Topshop

The colour of this loose-fitting dress is right on trend and the generous cut is perfect for your growing shape.

Nursing wrap top, £30, Next

This pastel wrap top is lovely for spring and practical for nursing on the go!

Ellis maternity tank dress, £85, Isabelle Oliver

This lovely dress has a built in bra and ruching on the sides to flatter your pre and post baby figure.

Over bump grey joggers, £15, Dorothy Perkins

For the days when only pyjamas will do, opt for these stylish over the bump joggers from Next, with a comfy camisole.

Star print tie top, £85, John Lewis

If you’re still working or you need to attend an event that doesn’t respect cotton nighties as acceptable attire, try this stretch top with its pretty star print and flattering waist tie.
