The Cannes Film Festival is renowned the world over for its glitz and glamour, playing host to the foremost filmmakers, A-List movie stars and diehard cinephiles during its yearly competition. The 2022 edition was no exception and The Upcoming were honoured to be there rubbing shoulders with the crème de la crème of film talent on and off the red carpet.

There to capture the most thrilling moments and striking looks was our skilled photographer Ambra Vernuccio, whose efforts were recognised by the festival itself on numerous occasions with the prestigious photo of the day award.

Today was the day of The Innocent, its stars, as well as the likes of Cara Delevingne, Baz Luhrmann, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Diane Kruger, Norman Reedus, Gael García Bernal, Paolo Sorrentino, Viggo Mortensen, Olivier Rousteing, Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Joachim Trier and Pierfrancesco Favino who all graced the star-studded event.
