WA Café unveils Sakura-themed menu

London’s cherished Japanese patisserie, WA Café, with branches in Ealing, Covent Garden, and a newly inaugurated outlet on Thayer Street in Marylebone, has introduced a Sakura flavoured dessert, pastry, and drinks menu to celebrate the advent of spring. Known for its expert blend of traditional French techniques with quintessentially Japanese flavours, WA Café offers Londoners a taste of the fleeting Japanese cherry blossom season with its themed treats available until 10th May.

Founded in 2014 by Yvonne Chu, WA Café has earned a reputation for its impeccable Japanese cakes, celebrated for their freshness, lightness, and beautifully precise presentation. This spring, customers can indulge in the Sakura Roll, Sakura Panna Cotta, Sakura Mochi Anpan, and Sakura Latte, all of which encapsulate the essence of the cherry blossom – a symbol of good luck, love, and the rejuvenation of spring.

The Japanese patisserie’s branches are sanctuaries of calm, designed with minimalist elegance to provide a Zen-like atmosphere where customers can fully immerse themselves in the tasting experience. This ethos extends to the café’s decision to operate without wifi, encouraging patrons to truly disconnect and savour their expertly crafted confections, from classic and seasonal cakes to a variety of breads, biscuits, and snacks. Alongside these delectable offerings, the café also serves a selection of premium loose leaf teas, specialty lattes, and coffee.

For those unable to visit in person, WA Café’s seasonal creations will be accessible to a wider audience through delivery across London, either via Deliveroo or directly from the café itself, to be enjoyed be enjoyed by all in the comfort of customers’ own homes.
