Actor Will Poulter will be joining the Tacos with Friends charity guest chef series at Side Hustle, the cocktail bar and restaurant within NoMad London, from the 5th of June. The initiative invites a different high-profile guest each month to collaborate with the restaurant’s culinary team to create a unique taco, with a portion of proceeds supporting City Harvest, a London-based charity tackling food waste and food insecurity.

Each guest collaborator works with NoMad London’s Director of Culinary, Bryce Shuman, and Executive Chef, Zak Gregoire, to develop a taco that reflects their personal tastes and influences. The taco is then offered for a limited time alongside Side Hustle’s regular menu of Latin American-inspired dishes and cocktails.

The monthly series began on the 1st of May with Michelin-starred chef Tomos Parry, from Brat and Mountain. Poulter, recognised for roles in The Bear, Black Mirror, and Midsommar, will follow as the June guest, presenting a taco inspired by his appearance in the TV series The Bear. The taco features pork, pickled honeydew melon, and shiso verde, drawing inspiration from the episode Honeydew. The special will be available exclusively at Side Hustle throughout June.

The July instalment of Tacos with Friends will feature Monica Berg, a Norwegian bartender and co-founder of Muyu Liqueurs, who is recognised for her digital innovation in the drinks industry. Additional guest chefs and personalities are expected to be announced as the series continues throughout the year.

Side Hustle is located in the historic Bow Street Police Station, formerly home to the Bow Street Runners, England’s first official police force. The bar, under the direction of Leo Robitschek, has received recognition from the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and has featured on several prestigious lists, including The World’s 50 Best Bars and Top 50 Cocktail Bars.

Tacos with Friends is a celebration of creativity, flavour, and community, bringing together exceptional talents for a meaningful cause. The series aims to highlight diverse culinary perspectives while supporting City Harvest’s mission to redistribute surplus food to those in need across London.
