The World’s 50 Best Restaurants announce positions 51–100 for the 2025 list
The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has announced its 2025 list of establishments ranked 51 to 100, ahead of the main awards ceremony scheduled for 19th June in Turin, Italy. The extended ranking, unveiled today, features restaurants from 25 countries and 37 cities across six continents, reflecting a broad spectrum of global culinary talent. The list is compiled from the votes of 1,120 international chefs, food writers and gastronomes.
This year’s 51-100 list includes 12 new entries from cities such as São Paulo, San Francisco, Macau and Tulum. The highest new entrant is Arca in Tulum, Mexico, at number 67, while Amisfield Restaurant of Queenstown, New Zealand, debuts at number 99, marking the first time a New Zealand venue has appeared.
European restaurants feature prominently with 20 entries. Notable new European additions are Koan in Copenhagen (91), Cocina Hermanos Torres in Barcelona (78), Txispa in Atxondo, Spain (85) and Al Gatto Verde in Modena (92). Germany is represented by four establishments, among them Restaurant Tim Raue (58), Nobelhart & Schmutzig (59), and Coda (79) in Berlin, as well as Tantris in Munich (73). The UK sees Mountain (74) and The Clove Club (86) – both in London – secure spots.
Asia’s cohort includes new entries Chef Tam’s Seasons in Macau (72) and Meet the Bund in Shanghai (94). Singapore’s Burnt Ends (93) and Labyrinth (97) are also listed, alongside Tokyo’s Den (53) and Sazenka (71). Other Asian venues featured include Onjium in Seoul (57), Fu He Hui in Shanghai (64) and Masque in Mumbai (68).
Africa features in three Cape Town establishments: La Colombe (55), Fyn (82), and Salsify at the Roundhouse (a new entry at 88). North America’s new additions include Huniik in Mérida (89), Atelier Crenn in San Francisco (96 – a re-entry), and César in New York (98). South America’s Tuju in São Paulo (70) makes its debut, while Ecuador’s Nuema (61) and Peru’s Mil (75) also secure places.

The ranking is determined by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, a gender-balanced group of 1,120 experts from 28 regions worldwide, and independently adjudicated by Deloitte to ensure integrity. The main awards ceremony will take place at Lingotto Fiere in Turin on 19th June and will be livestreamed on the 50 Best YouTube channel.
