Café Kitsuné to open second Parisian-Japanese location in Covent Garden

Lifestyle and coffee brand Café Kitsuné has announced it will open its second London branch in Covent Garden on 25th June 2025. The opening aims to bring the café’s distinctive blend of Parisian and Japanese influences to one of London’s most popular shopping and dining districts. Founded in Paris and known for its unique fusion of French and Japanese aesthetics, Café Kitsuné has locations in cities such as Tokyo, New York and Seoul. The Covent Garden site follows the brand’s first London outpost, continuing its strategy to cater to both local residents and the area’s high volume of tourists.

The new venue will occupy two floors, with interior design intended to express the brand’s ethos of combining Parisian charm with Japanese minimalism. Its menu will feature the café’s signature drinks such as coffee, chai and matcha, along with baked goods including the brand’s Fox Cookies, Matcha Financier and savoury Pain Suisse. Seasonal drinks will be available, among them the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and Yuzu and Honey Latte, reflecting Café Kitsuné’s emphasis on playing with classic and contemporary flavours.

A preview event for media and invited guests is scheduled for 24th June 2025, offering an opportunity to sample menu items and view the new space ahead of the official opening. Café Kitsuné’s arrival in Covent Garden is expected to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the area’s food and beverage landscape, providing a new destination for both coffee enthusiasts and those seeking a blend of international café culture in central London.
