Madrid’s Los 33 to headline WildKitchen open fire supper club at Guy Ritchie’s Ashcombe Estate

Madrid’s Los 33 to headline WildKitchen open fire supper club at Guy Ritchie’s Ashcombe Estate

Madrid-based restaurant Los 33 will take over the kitchen at Guy Ritchie’s private Ashcombe Estate in Wiltshire this September as part of the WildKitchen supper club series, a summer-long culinary programme that features guest chefs from the UK and abroad.

Held on Ritchie’s estate, which lies within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, WildKitchen is an intimate dining experience limited to 16 guests per weekend. The supper club centres around open-fire cooking and is hosted beside a natural lake on the property. Guests stay in the estate’s 19th century New England-style hunting lodge – a location featured in Ritchie’s film The Gentlemen. The house, decorated by interior designer Edward Hurst, offers eight bedrooms and views of the surrounding landscape, which is also designated as an International Dark Sky Reserve.

Each weekend, a different chef prepares a tasting menu cooked entirely over fire at the chef’s table. On the weekend of 6th September, head chef Oswaldo González and his team from Los 33 will present a menu rooted in their signature approach to fire-based cooking. Ingredients will be brought from Spain to reflect the restaurant’s culinary identity, for a menu that includes dishes such as Santoña Anchovy on Brioche Toast with Smoked Butter, Japanese Wagyu Cecina, Galician Blond Cow Ribeye and Sautéed Spinach with Pine nuts, Raisins and Plenty of Parmesan. All courses are served family-style, beginning with small starters and culminating in a main course of grilled meat and sides. The dinner is priced at £175 per person (excluding drinks), and is available only to guests staying at the estate.

Sara Aznar and Nacho Ventosa, founders and owners of Los 33, commented: “For us, it’s an honour to bring the soul of Los 33 outside Madrid and into such a special setting as Ashcombe Estate. Our cooking is born from fire, simplicity and seasonal produce, and sharing it at WildKitchen is a way of returning to the origins – cooking in direct contact with nature and around a shared table. When we created Los 33, it was inspired by the magic that happens around fire and a table. Bringing that essence to WildKitchen is, for us, going back to the roots: cooking with wood in the heart of nature and celebrating with people who enjoy the experience of dining together as much as we do.”

The 2025 WildKitchen series also includes appearances by chefs such as Alex Nietosvuori (Hjem, Northumberland), Charlie Tayler (Aulis, London), Debora Fadul (Diaca, Guatemala City), Masaki Sugisaki (Dinings SW3, London) and Andy Beynon (Behind, London). In addition to the dining experience, guests can participate in outdoor activities across the estate throughout the weekend.
