Dubai’s Galaxy Bar debuts signature cocktail book during London Cocktail Week

Dubai’s Galaxy Bar launched its debut cocktail book, Galaxy Bar Cocktails, this week at a one-night-only event at Kwānt Mayfair, as part of London Cocktail Week. The publication, developed by Natasha Sideris, founder and CEO of Tashas Group, and Krystian Hordejuk, beverage director and custodian of Galaxy Bar, aims to document the bar’s approach to mixology while celebrating the wider global industry. At an evening presentation, Hordejuk offered guests a curated menu inspired by recipes featured in the book, and copies were also made available for purchase at the venue.

Galaxy Bar, based in Dubai, has gained international recognition for its minimalist yet refined approach to drinks making. Galaxy Bar Cocktails reflects their philosophy, which focuses on technique, design and simplicity. The publication features photography by Juliet Dunne and is divided into two sections: one covering the foundational tools and techniques for preparation, and the other showcasing 60 original recipes. Each is categorised into one of five flavour-based chapters and includes detailed notes on skill level, flavour profile, core alcohol, glassware, ice, technique and garnish. Additional sub-recipes for components such as cordials and syrups are presented alongside the main recipes.

Sideris said: “We wanted this book to capture the moods and moments of Galaxy Bar – the atmosphere, the craft and the creativity – and bring them to life through bold design, sleek photography and our signature cocktail recipes. It’s an invitation to experience our world of cocktail art and take a piece of Galaxy home.”

Following its London debut, Galaxy Bar Cocktails will continue its international promotional tour at the Athens Bar Show, where the team will host an event at A for Athens. The book will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the show.
