Chook Chook in Putney offers free kids’ meals during October half-term

Chook Chook in Putney – self-styled as an Indian Railway Kitchen” – will be offering free children’s meals during the upcoming October half-term holiday. Intended to provide families with an affordable dining option during the school break, the promotion runs from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November and includes young patrons up to the age of 15, who can receive a complimentary main course and a side of rice from the kids’ menu with every paying adult.

Chook Chook’s children’s menu includes a range of Indian dishes tailored to younger palates. Options on offer include Butter Chicken, Malai Salmon Tikka and Makhmali Paneer Tikka, and each meal comes with a side of rice. While the kids dine for free, adults can choose from the restaurant’s à la carte menu, which features dishes such as a slow-braised and spiced Lamb Shank Madras and Karahi Prawn Masala, served in a fragrant gravy. A selection of rice and naan breads is also available.

The offer comes amid continued efforts by hospitality venues to attract families during school holidays, particularly as the cost of living continues to affect household budgets. Chook Chook’s casual atmosphere and varied menu is likely to please both the young holidayers and their grown-ups.
