Wembley Park to host London’s Big Festive Day Out with lights, markets and concerts this winter

Wembley Park in north-west London is hosting a large-scale festive programme titled London’s Big Festive Day Out until the 3^{rd of} January 2026. The seasonal celebration transforms the entertainment district into a winter-themed destination with light installations, cultural events, family activities, and markets, offering a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages.

The neighbourhood, that comprises the Wembley Stadium and the OVO Arena, has been decorated with a variety of festive installations, including a 20-foot Gingerbread Arch in Samovar Space and a 50-foot Christmas tree in Market Square adorned with over 500 baubles. Lights line Olympic Way and Wembley Park Boulevard, while three traditional K6 red phone boxes near the OVO Arena have been repurposed as illuminated displays filled with coloured lights.

Live performances form a central part of the programme. On the 7^th of December, the OVO Arena will host the RnB Xmas Ball, featuring Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton, Joe, Dru Hill, and other special guests. In addition, brass ensembles from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama will perform free concerts in Market Square each weekend in December.

Other cultural offerings include the return of the From Saint to Santa photography exhibition, which explores the evolution of Father Christmas, and screenings of festive films such as The Polar Express and Elf at BOXPARK Wembley. Children aged 7–11 can also attend Fireside Tales, an immersive storytelling production by Punchdrunk Enrichment, running from 6 December to 4 January.

Families can participate in the free Ultimate Kids’ Christmas Party, delivered in partnership with Fresh Arts, an Arts Council portfolio organisation. A Santa’s Grotto will be open on weekends at the London Designer Outlet (LDO), with additional dates from 22–24 December. The LDO is also hosting a Winter Trail, which rewards children with a Lindt treat upon completion.

Weekend markets in Market Square will feature over 50 traders offering artisan goods and seasonal food and drink. Bread Ahead Bakery School will run festive baking workshops, while local restaurants will serve special Christmas menus.
