Silent Pool Gin brings festive Winter Townhouse pop-up to Soho with tastings, masterclasses and film screenings

A festive pop-up event curated by Silent Pool Gin will open in London’s Soho from 10th to 17th December 2025. The Winter Townhouse, located at 15 Bateman Street, offers a week-long immersive experience combining gin tastings, masterclasses, seasonal shopping and film screenings designed to provide a temporary escape from the city’s bustle in the run-up to Christmas.

The event will transform the venue into a countryside-inspired townhouse, allowing attendees to participate in a range of scheduled activities. These include a one-hour Christmas Gifting Experience, Martini Masterclasses, and daily screenings of the 2006 romantic comedy The Holiday. Each experience is ticketed and must be booked in advance due to limited capacity.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a host and offered a Festive Gin & Tonic as part of the Gifting Experience, which takes place every hour. Visitors can browse a curated selection of Silent Pool Gin products and accessories, with opportunities for personalisation such as calligraphy on bottles and custom baubles. A £5 voucher redeemable on-site is included in the £10 ticket price.

A dedicated gin bar will serve a limited-edition cocktail menu, including the Shere Delight (developed in collaboration with the Beaverbrook hotel) as well as Hot Toddies and seasonal G&Ts. From 3 pm and 5 pm daily, ticket holders can join Martini Masterclasses for £25 per person, receiving a welcome drink and hands-on instruction in making the classic cocktail.

From 7 pm to 8 pm each evening, the venue will host Martini Hour, during which guests can enjoy two Silent Pool Gin Martinis in a speakeasy-style setting. Martini Hour tickets are also priced at £25.

Downstairs, a small screening room will show The Holiday twice daily at 3 pm and 6 pm. The £35 ticket includes two festive G&Ts and popcorn supplied by Joe & Seph’s. The screenings are supported by KEF’s XIO Soundbar.

A Wish Room will also be available, where visitors can write a Christmas wish for someone special. Ten wishes will be selected daily, with recipients receiving a Silent Pool Gin gift.

Silent Pool Gin was founded in 2015 and is distilled in the Surrey Hills. The brand’s botanicals include locally sourced ingredients such as lavender, chamomile and honey. The Winter Townhouse builds on the brand’s goal to create sensory experiences that reflect its rural roots.
