Nutritionist and social media influencer Emily English is collaborating with the Vietnamese restaurant chain Pho this January to raise awareness about gut health, which is expected to remain a significant wellness priority into 2026. The campaign, titled Go With Your Gut, will run throughout the month across Pho’s UK restaurants and social media platforms, aiming to demonstrate how eating for gut health can be accessible and enjoyable even when dining out.

Gut health has received increasing attention from both health professionals and consumers, with retailers such as Marks & Spencer recently introducing gut-friendly food ranges. English, a registered nutritionist and popular TikTok creator, is using her platform to highlight practical ways to support digestive health without resorting to restrictive diets. Through her partnership with the brand, she is focusing on the nutritional benefits of pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup that is their signature dish.

“Gut health is expected to be one of the biggest wellness priorities of 2026, because it underpins so many aspects of overall health from digestion and immunity to energy and mood,” said English. “Eating for gut health doesn’t need to be complicated, even when you’re ordering on the high street. Dishes like pho are a great example: bone broth-based, protein-rich, naturally gluten-free and packed with herbs and vegetables that support the gut microbiome.”

In her campaign content, English examines the benefits of pho. She points out that the slow-simmered bone broth provides amino acids such as glycine, which can help support the gut lining. The dish also features lean proteins, fresh herbs and vegetables, which contribute fibre and phytonutrients, all of which play a role in digestion and microbiome health.

English also notes Pho’s menu is 98% gluten-free and accredited by Coeliac UK, making it an option for those with specific dietary requirements. “Pho makes it easy to choose meals that are both comforting and genuinely nourishing,” she said. “It’s proof that gut-friendly food doesn’t have to be restrictive or boring – and sometimes the healthiest choice is the one that brings you joy.”
