Marylebone’s 108 Brasserie to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with Irish-themed brunch

108 Brasserie & Bar in Marylebone will mark St Patrick’s Day with a special Irish-themed brunch on Saturday, 14^th March. The event, which runs from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm, celebrates Ireland’s culinary heritage with live music and a menu featuring traditional Irish dishes.

The event is being organised as a nod to the Irish roots of The Marylebone hotel, which houses the restaurant. The hotel is part of The Doyle Collection, an Irish, family-owned group, and is situated in the heart of London’s Marylebone Village.

Guests attending the brunch will be welcomed with a Jameson Black Barrel whiskey cocktail, before sampling a buffet of appetisers and salads. Dishes on offer include Clonakilty Black Pudding Sausage Rolls with mustard and burnt apple sauce, an Irish flag salad of cos lettuce, clementines, St Tola Goat’s Cheese and avocado, and a Carlingford Irish Oyster station.

For the main course, diners can choose from a range of Irish classics such as Seafood Chowder served with soda bread, and Irish Lamb Stew with colcannon. Other options from the restaurant’s regular menu will also be available, including Slow-braised Short Rib Ragù with pappardelle and Chicken Milanese with rocket and parmesan. Sharing dishes include Whole Butterflied Sea Bass with seasonal sides, and a Corned Beef Brisket and Cabbage Platter accompanied by potatoes, cauliflower, Coolea cheese gratin, and champ.

Desserts will feature traditional Irish treats such as Warm Bread Pudding with whiskey custard, Chocolate Guinness Cake, Barmbrack Fruit Loaf, and Shamrock Cookies.

Live music will accompany the brunch, which is priced at £85 per person. The restaurant’s setting on Marylebone Lane, characterised by a European-style atmosphere, is expected to provide a refined backdrop for the occasion.
