Kappa FuturFestival debuts fine dining restaurant with Michelin-starred chefs for 2026 edition
Turin-based electronic music event, Kappa FuturFestival, will introduce its first on-site fine dining restaurant, Taverna Futurista, when the festival returns this summer, from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July. The new venture, located in the heart of the festival site overlooking the Lab stage, will feature menus designed by several Michelin-starred Italian chefs and is open to all ticketholders, with reservations recommended.
The project draws inspiration from the Futurist movement, the early twentieth-century Italian artistic current known for blurring the boundaries between art and daily life. Taverna Futurista has been developed under the creative direction of sommelier Jacopo Dosio and food critic Paolo Vizzari, and is intended to combine art, music and cuisine within the festival environment.
The lunchtime offering will take the form of seated tasting menus prepared by three chefs: Davide di Fabio of Dalla Gioconda (one Michelin star), Francesco Brutto and Chiara Pavan of Venissa (one Michelin star), and Enrico Crippa of Piazza Duomo (three Michelin stars). Evening service will adopt a more informal format, with standing tables and menus reflecting Italian regional traditions. These include Palermo street food by Tiziana Francoforte, a Venetian Bacaro concept by Brutto and Pavan, and a Piedmontese Piola by Dennis Panzeri.
Kappa FuturFestival has built a substantial international following, with particular interest from audiences in the United Kingdom. In 2025, it was ranked sixth in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals list, one place behind Glastonbury. The 2024 edition featured more than 130 artists across six stages and reportedly drew over 120,000 attendees from more than 150 countries.
This year’s musical programme includes Peggy Gou, Armin van Buuren, Solomun, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Sebastian Ingrosso, Michael Bibi, Sven Väth, Enrico Sangiuliano, Richie Hawtin – DEX EFX X0X, and a DJ set from Disclosure, alongside a wider line-up of established and emerging artists.
The festival’s premium ticket options also return for 2026: the Gold Experience provides access to VIP terraces and lounges, the Futur Stage, a shuttle service from Turin city centre, entry to the official opening party and selected after-parties, and a welcome kit. The four-day Art+Techno package, running from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th July, includes five-star hotel accommodation, food and drink, guided visits to art galleries and private collections, dedicated transfers and the benefits of the Gold Experience.
