Delamina East celebrates a decade in Shoreditch with special anniversary dinner series

Delamina East, the eastern Mediterranean restaurant in Shoreditch co-owned by Limor and Amir Chen, is marking its tenth anniversary this month with a series of special dinners and events. So far on the schedule are a Founders Dinner on 10th June, followed by a tutored wine evening in July, both held at the restaurant’s east London location.

The celebrations begin with the Founders Dinner, featuring a six-course selection priced at £64 per person, with a limited number of tables still available at the time of writing. The event is intended to reflect on the restaurant’s first decade and revisit dishes associated with its opening.

This will be followed on 8th July by a Pour & Plate tutored wine dinner, which will pair Mediterranean wines with a five-course menu. The evening is priced at £68 per person, with all wine included in the cost.

Delamina East opened in Shoreditch in 2015 and has since been joined by Delamina Marylebone and Delamina Townhouse in Covent Garden, with the group building a reputation for cooking drawn from across the eastern Mediterranean, with Israeli, Levantine and North African influences. The Chens, who founded the business together, have remained directly involved in the running of the restaurants.

Shoreditch has changed considerably as a dining destination since Delamina East first opened its doors a decade ago, with the surrounding streets now home to a dense concentration of independent restaurants, bars and cafés. The decision to mark the milestone with a series of themed dinners, rather than a single event, reflects a broader trend among London restaurants inviting regular customers to join in celebrating anniversaries and revisiting signature dishes.

This special programme places a particular emphasis on the food and wine traditions that have shaped the establishment’s menu over the past decade. Dishes have typically revolved around mezze-style small plates, grilled meats and seafood, as well as a range of vegetable-led options, alongside a wine list weighted towards producers from Mediterranean regions.

Bookings are being taken directly through the restaurant, with further events to be annouced in the coming weeks.
