UK’s biggest burger festival returns to London with new chicken line-up and fan-voted championships

Burger Fest UK will return to Richmond Athletic Ground in London from 12th to 14th June 2026, bringing together more than 20 burger traders from across the UK and Ireland for a three-day event centred around the UK Burger Championships, in which attendees vote to determine the winner.

The festival follows its debut last year and will once again be held in south-west London, with sessions running on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon. Tickets start at £12.

A notable change for 2026 is the inclusion of a wider range of chicken burger specialists. Traders such as Clucking Oinks and Gurt Wings will join the line-up alongside beef-focused vendors, offering attendees a mix of smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches.

Confirmed traders so far include 7Bone, Babble Hove (by @slambertcooks), Baggio Burger (winner of the 2025 Traders’ Choice Award), Baps Belfast, Black Bear Burger (2025 runner-up), Bun & Sum, Bun X, Chicken George X The Rib Man, Clucking Oinks, Dash Burger from Dublin, Dom’s Subs X Jupiter Burger, Gurt Wings, Meatcastles (the 2025 UK Burger Championship), Please Sir, One Bite, Smash n Slide, Smith’s of Bourton, Strip Club Street Food (2025 third place) and Zephyr Burgers (2025 Industry Award winner).

The centrepiece of the festival is the UK Burger Championships, in which guests sample burgers from across the line-up before voting to crown the “The People’s Champion”. Last year’s winner, Meatcastles, will return to defend the title. Each trader is required to offer a classic cheeseburger priced at £10 or under, with chef’s specials available at varying prices.

In addition to food, the event will include craft beer bars, cocktails, a dedicated pickleback bar, brand activations, giveaways, DJ sets, burger-eating competitions and live cooking demonstrations.

The organisers for Burger Fest UK said: “We launched Burger Fest to celebrate just how strong the burger scene has become across the UK. Over the past few years the quality, creativity and competition between traders has gone to another level, and we wanted to bring the very best of that together in one place. This year we’re going even bigger, bringing together returning champions, some of the most talked about traders from across the UK and welcoming international guests from Ireland too. The UK Burger Championships puts the power in the hands of the fans. There’s no judging panel and no industry gatekeeping, just thousands of people eating great burgers and deciding who deserves to wear the championship belts.”
