Sale e Pepe unveils secret Marylebone courtyard garden for third London restaurant

The Thesleff Group has opened Sale e Pepe Terrazza, a seasonal open-air Italian restaurant, in a private courtyard garden behind The Langham in Marylebone, for this summer only. It’s the third addition to the Sale e Pepe collection and is found via a private entrance from Cavendish Place, a short distance from Oxford Circus.

The new venue occupies one of central London’s largest and oldest private courtyard gardens, a space that has existed behind the walls of The Langham for almost 200 years. Sale e Pepe Terrazza follows the original Sale e Pepe restaurant, which opened in Knightsbridge more than 50 years ago and became one of London’s established Italian restaurants. Earlier this year, the group also opened Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham.

The venue offers the perfect destination for leisurely lunches, after-work meetings and early evening aperitivo. On the menu are refreshing summer drinks such as a St Germain Spritz, rosé, Peroni, Guinness on draught and a cocktail list, as well as freshly shucked oysters, seafood towers, summer salads, cicchetti intended for sharing and pizzas, all served outside in the garden setting.

Sale e Pepe Terrazza is hidden from surrounding streets, providing an oasis from the busy central London area, and is now open to the public, with bookings available for the summer 2026 edition.
