Seven Dials Market becomes Seven Sins Market for Halloween with 14 deadly sin dishes and late-night events
Seven Dials Market in Covent Garden will become Seven Sins Market for ten days over Halloween, from this Friday until 1st November 2026. The food hall at 35 Earlham Street is running the event in partnership with Meantime brewery, with discounted pints served alongside 14 limited-edition dishes themed around the seven deadly sins from independent traders, cocktails and two weekends of late-night music and entertainment. The market will be decorated with red drapes and theatrical touches, and a confessional booth will also be installed, where visitors can anonymously confess their sins.
The special dishes are grouped under “pride”, “greed”, “lust”, “envy”, “gluttony”, “wrath” and “sloth”. Representing “pride”, Sukoshi is serving Tuna Tartare TNT, three pastry shells filled with tuna tartare, red onion, coriander, tomato and jalapeño, finished with yuzu. For “greed”, Oh My Dog! offers the Candy Bacon Double-Barrel Sha-Boing-Boing, a toasted brioche bun with two smoked pork franks, candy bacon, crispy boudin noir, cheese, tomato relish, mustard, pickled onion and chives.
Under “lust”, Chin Chin and Mello have collaborated on Pumpkin Candy Corn, a pumpkin soft serve spiced with cinnamon and ginger and topped with sweetcorn brûléed to order. “Envy” brings three dishes: Yum Bun has Eye Scream Melon Soda, topped with vanilla ice cream, strawberry ripple and a gummy eyeball, Oh My Dog! serves its American Frycho loaded fries with black garlic mayo, soy-cured egg yolk and chicharrón crumb, and HOKO offers Dark Ember Crispy Veggie Wontons, charcoal-black wontons dusted with shichimi spice.
“Gluttony” is represented by Bad Boy Pizza Society’s Pepocalypse, a slice heavily topped with pepperoni, as well as Stakehaus, who offer the Absolute Glutton Board, with 600g of bavette steak and a choice of butters, while Pick & Cheese serves a baby pumpkin filled with fondue, accompanied by cornichons and bread.
The “wrath” category focuses on spice. Masa Tacos has the Habanero Horseman, a black corn tortilla with adobo beef, habanero hot sauce and carrot slaw. Lucky’s Hot Chicken offers Sinful Fries with fried chicken strips, nacho cheese sauce and pickled jalapeños. Yum Bun has a Fiery KFC Bun with extra-hot Korean fried chicken, and Mezzo serves Calabrian Wrath – penne in tomato sauce with ‘nduja, chilli oil and Parmigiano Reggiano. For “sloth”, Arnabeet’s 16-hour Lamb Loaded Pita Crisps combine the crisps with slow-cooked lamb, yoghurt and Aleppo pepper sauce.
Meantime is taking over the market’s Bar Nana for the duration. Every evening from 7pm to 8pm, a Redemption Hour will offer pints of Meantime Lager for £5. Customers aged 18 and over can also try to stop a clock at exactly ten seconds, and those who succeed get their pint for free. The Warehouse Bar will serve cocktails including a Cucumber Alley Marg, The Mighty Lychee and a Deluxe Espresso Martini, as well as its usual beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks.
A late-night programme, Dials After Dark, will run on 23rd and 24th October and from 29th to 31st October. It includes DJ sets from Voices Radio, live music from Sofar Sounds, piano house sets and live bands.
