Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Two! returns to London’s Garrick Theatre for a summer season

Following a sensational visit to The Sydney Opera House last week, the Birmingham Stage Company returns to London with Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Two! playing at The Garrick Theatre in the West End for a summer season of daytime performances from 3rd until 31st August.

Lining up to entertain you with gory and hilarious facts are some of Britain’s best and barmiest characters, including battling Queen Boudicca, Scottish independent William Wallace, evil Elizabeth l, dastardly Dick Turpin and party Queen Victoria. It’s history with the nasty bits left in!

Actors Alison Fitzjohn and Neal Foster will be playing more than a dozen different characters each during this one hour gallop through British history, involving a huge number of quick changes of both costumes and accents as they sprint from the Roman invasion to Victorian Britain via the Black Death and the Civil War.

Written by Terry Deary and Neal Foster, Barmy Britain – Part Two! reveals the real history of Britain in an uniquely funny and memorable way with songs and sketches packed with disgusting facts and extraordinary events. A must for families, this show entertains and delights audiences aged 6 to 106!

Horrible Histories live shows are created by Neal Foster and The Birmingham Stage Company, one of the world’s leading producers of drama for children and their families. The BSC has been touring Horrible Histories for nine years throughout the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and most recently Australia.
