Alexa Chung X AG Jeans

When we heard that Alexa Chung had designed a collection for AG jeans, we weren’t surprised in the slightest! The fashion icon and “it” girl is rarely seen not wearing denim and the collection is everything we had hoped for.

After spending time in the design studio with the California-based denim brand, Alexa has created a collection with a vintage boho vibe so that we can all have a little piece of the great fashionista in our wardrobes. Lucky us!

Just as predicted, the range is totally retro and seventies-inspired, much like Alexa’s iconic style. From mod dresses to high-waisted jeans and vintage overalls, the 20-piece collection covers all of our denim wants and needs. Amongst our favourites are the denim skirt and shirt combo which can be seen in the campaign photos where Chung shows us how to pull off double denim the right way!

When asked about the collection Chung said: “The collection is inherently the missing pieces of dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late sixties, early seventies aesthetic.”

When speaking about choosing Alexa, AG Jeans front man Sam Ku explained: “As a modern day fashion icon, Alexa is a muse to some of the most incredible fashion designers in the world, yet remains real and accessible to the everyday woman looking to her as a fashion influence and inspiration.”
