Giles Deacon designs Children in Need t-shirt for 2015

Giles Deacon designs Children in Need t-shirt for 2015

Pudsey Bear is back once again, and this year he is bringing a little shine to BBC’s Children in Need. For the second year in a row, the honour of designing the annual shirt has gone to fashion designer Giles Deacon. Deacon has previously worked for famous names and brands such as Bottega, Gucci and New Look. But if we look at his designs for the charity, it seems that Deacon has found his perfect muse in Pudsey.

Supporters of the charity will be able to sport a metallic golden Pudsey or a happy black polkadotted Pudsey. “I hope that everyone likes Pudsey’s new look,” the designer said. “I have been a huge supporter of Children in Need for many years now, and was delighted to offer my support again this year through the design of their 2015 t-shirt.”

As always many celebrities are backing this wonderful charity and sporting Deacon’s stylish shirts, and they are raving about his design. “Giles Deacon never disappoints! He has really outdone himself this year,“ model Daisy Lowe said. “Dress it up or dress it down, this sleek take on Pudsey Bear will make it easy to look fantastic while fundraising.”

The shirts are available for £12 for adults and £7 for children. The Children in Need website has many more Pudsey goodies available for those who want to show their support for the cause. “Please do all you can to support this year’s appeal,” actor Stanley Tucci pleads. “Perhaps start by getting one of these t-shirts!”
