An uplifting mix of humour, adventure and drama, Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a quirky new comedy from New Zealand about the unlikely friendship between a grumpy man (played by Sam Neill) and a thuggish city kid (Julian Dennison).

Directed by Taika Waititi, whose next project is the highly anticipated Thor: Ragnarok, this is a small independent film that won the approval of critics and audiences alike at the Sundance Film Festival and is likely to charm more viewers with its freshness and feel-good vibes.

Neill and Dennison discussed their filming experience at the London premiere, and it is clear from their playful exchanges that their bond has developed beyond their onscreen chemistry.
