Yeezy Season 6 on Kim Kardashian lookalikes
Remember Kim Kardashian in those Yeezy Season 6 fake paparazzi pictures? In the last week you may have seen some more similar images popping up on your social media feed. Look a bit closer and you’ll spot that it’s not actually Kimmy K.
Kardashian and her rapper-come-designer husband Kayne West have been promoting the latest drop of West’s Yeezy clothing line on social media recently. Inspired by the mega stars constant stream of pap photos, what better way is there to document the clothing than by showing how it will be worn?
The campaign, which was styled by Carine Roitfeld, features a whole host famous faces including family friends Jordyn Woods and Paris Hilton along with various other smaller influencers to help draw maximum impact. Influencers were “caught” in various locations around Calabasas running errands such as going to McDonalds, stopping at FedEx and then getting petrol.
Hilton referred to herself on her Instagram as a “Kim Clone” and at first glance, you can see why. All the mini-Kim’s wore one of Kim’s signature platinum wig and Yeezy attire showcased on their varying silhouettes.
Kayne’s latest collection showcased the sportswear to the max with a selection of leggings, crop tops and heels. All designs were in Yeezy’s signature tones of neutrals.
This isn’t the first time that West has shunned the traditional methods of showcasing a collection. In December the designer avoided his New York Fashion Week slot instead choosing to show his collection through photographs on wife Kim.
The attention drawn to the collection is pure genius, proving, once again, that the Kardashian-West clan are some of the biggest and best people in business.
