Seven super quick and easy morning hairstyles for long hair

Seven super quick and easy morning hairstyles for long hair

When you’re in a mad dash to get out the door in the morning which, let’s be honest most of us are, you just don’t have the time to sit meticulously styling your hair. #woke up like this may look amazing on Instagram but in reality it equals knotted roots and half a head of flat, matted mess! This can be especially true for those of us with particularly long and unruly locks. For this exact situation, we have put together a list of seven quick and easy styles that will now and forever be your go-to morning hair looks…

Half up half down clip

Simply take a section from the front of your hair on each side and pull them towards the back of your head. Cross these sections over and hold in place with a decorative clip. Simple and very pretty!

Go for a bow

Use a head scarf or ribbon to up the wow factor of a simple pony tail, messy bun or side plait. Match it to your outfit or use it to add a pop of colour to a neutral ensemble.

Half up half down bun

Pull the top half of your hair loosely back and secure it in a messy bun using a no-snag hair band for off-duty hair vibes!

Side plait

A side plait always look super chic and takes literally two minutes to achieve. Save even more time and plait your hair the night before to give your do a relaxed bohemian edge.

Messy low bun

Never underestimate the chicness of a messy low bun. No need to brush your hair for a polished finish, simply run your fingers through your hair, pull it back and tie it loosely at the nape of your neck.

Low wrapped pony

Once you’ve roughly secured a low ponytail, take a small section, wrap it around your hair band and secure with a bobby pin. This will give your messy do a contrasting polished finish.

Partial plait

No time to commit to the whole plait? No problem! It actually looks chicer this way. Secure your ponytail at the desired height and begin plaiting, then stop! Secure the plait here with a clear hair elastic and let the rest of your ponytail flow freely.
