Star Trek: Discovery sets course for final voyage: Paramount+ to launch last season in April

Paramount+ has declared that the final chapter of the beloved Star Trek: Discovery series will launch on 4^th April 2024, introducing a conclusion to the interstellar saga exclusively on their platform. The premiere, which will be available in the UK, US, Switzerland, South Korea, Latin America, Germany, France, Italy, Australia and Austria, will commence with the first two episodes of a ten-episode season, followed by weekly releases thereafter.

The closing season promises to lead Captain Michael Burnham and her crew aboard the USS Discovery on an extraordinary odyssey to unravel a mystery tied to an ancient power, long concealed. This quest places them in direct conflict with formidable adversaries equally determined to harness this enigmatic force.

Returning to their roles for the final season are Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Burnham, alongside Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio and Callum Keith Rennie. Recurring guest stars will include Elias Toufexis and Eve Harlow. The series has Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise at the helm as co-showrunners and as part of the executive production team.
