The K Bar introduces tableside martini station for World Martini Day

The K Bar, located within The Kensington hotel, is launching a new Martini Station experience to mark World Martini Day on 21st June 2025. The initiative will see expert bartenders preparing custom martinis tableside for guests, using a mobile station that moves through the bar’s interior.

The Martini Station will feature a menu of both gin and vodka martinis, with spirits including Sipsmith Vodka (£26), Konik’s Tail (£29), Sipsmith Gin (£26), and Silent Pool Gin (£29). Guests can also opt for variations such as the Knickerbocker—a version made with both dry and sweet vermouth—or the Gin Dubonnet, a rich, herbaceous nod to British tradition. Each martini is finished with a dash of bitters and served with a complimentary snack. The mobile station is designed to bring the preparation process directly to the table, allowing guests to engage with bartenders and tailor their drink to their preferences.

In addition to the drinks menu, The K Bar will introduce a refreshed selection of bar snacks to accompany the cocktails, pairing bold, elegant with the signature martinis. Options include Duck Confit Croquettes with sriracha mayo, Grilled Octopus with new potatoes and chorizo, Padron Peppers with lemon zest and Maldon salt, and Pan Con Tomate

The K Bar is situated within The Kensington hotel at 109-113 Queen’s Gate, in South Kensington, an establishment characterised by opulent interiors, and a collection of artisan spirits and fine wines. The latest addition to the range of services offered by the venue is intended to reinforce The K Bar’s dedication to craftsmanship and flair by providing a setting for guests to enjoy martinis in a more theatrical and personalised manner.

World Martini Day is observed internationally, with many venues using the occasion to showcase their take on the classic drink.
