HUŎ to open second London restaurant in Belsize Village this July

HUŎ is set to open its second location in London’s Belsize Village this July 2025. The new site will expand the brand’s presence from its original Chelsea venue, which launched on Park Walk in 2021. Restaurateurs Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie, who also operate sister restaurants ULI in Notting Hill and Marylebone, are behind the expansion. The Belsize Village branch will continue HUŎ’s focus on Asian cuisine, with a menu curated by Head Chef Yam Gurung and an interior developed in collaboration with Jonathan Clark Architects.

HUŎ’s menu will feature dishes inspired by traditional Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Singaporean recipes, all prepared from scratch. The restaurant highlights sharing plates as a central part of its dining style. Signature offerings will include Handmade Dim Sum, Szechuan Chilli Prawns, Spice Minced Pork with Green Beans, and, for those feeling they can handle their spice, Szechuan Chilli Prawns. Other items on the menu range from Thai Lobster Crackers and Soft Shell Crab to noodle dishes, salads such as Duck with Watermelon and Cashew Nuts, or Noodle and Cucumber, and desserts like the Toffee Banana Fritter.

The new venue has been designed by RIBA London Award-winning Jonathan Clark Architects, to create a space that balances intimacy and openness. The interior will feature a whitewashed wood lattice structure, coloured infill panels in earthy tones, lime-washed flooring, and rattan lighting. Upholstered curved banquettes and a large window frontage are intended to enhance the restaurant’s natural light and atmosphere. Artwork by Asian artists will be displayed throughout the space.

There will be three main areas: a front bar with seating for eight, a main dining room with capacity for 86 guests, and a private dining room downstairs that can accommodate 18 people and includes its own bar. An outdoor terrace will offer additional seating for up to 16 guests. Delivery will also be available within a one-mile radius of the restaurant.
