The Marylebone launches new Marylebone Village Charm cocktail menu honouring local icons and landmarks
The Cocktail Bar at The Marylebone Hotel has launched a new menu today, entitled Marylebone Village Charm, drawing inspiration from the neighbourhood’s cultural and historical landmarks. The five-star hotel’s bar, located at 108 Marylebone Lane, aims to offer a sensory tour through the area’s heritage, with each drink referencing a local figure, location or architectural feature.
The new menu includes cocktails themed around iconic Marylebone institutions and residents. Among the offerings is Eau de Parfum, a drink inspired by the Selfridges beauty hall. According to the hotel, the cocktail is constructed in the style of a fine fragrance, with layered ingredients designed to evoke top, heart and base notes. It includes Código tequila, Italicus, Muyu Jasmine Verte, pineapple, lime and honey syrup, and is topped with Oggs foam and Angostura bitters.
Another highlight is Sherlock, a highball referencing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective, whose fictional home was on Baker Street. The drink features Redbreast 12, The King’s Ginger, mezcal and Muyu Vetiver Gris, and is served under a smoked cloche for a dramatic presentation. “Sherlock is an elegant, enigmatic serve, where tradition meets intrigue in every sip,” reads the description provided by the hotel.
The Inner Circle cocktail takes its cue from Queen Mary’s Gardens in nearby Regent’s Park, known for its extensive rose collection. It combines Belvedere Vodka with Amaro Santoni, Cocchi Rosa, passionfruit and tonka bean, finished with rose lemonade.
Non-alcoholic options include the Natural Remedy, which pays tribute to Florence Nightingale, the pioneering nurse who lived in the neighbourhood. It blends chrysanthemum cold brew with Martini Floreale and elderflower, and is described by the hotel as “a tribute to dignity, healing and timeless care.”
The new drinks menu is part of The Marylebone’s ongoing efforts to reflect local character through its food and beverage offerings. The Cocktail Bar is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to midnight, and Sundays until 11pm.
