Michelin-starred chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen to open Rosi at The Beaumont Mayfair in 2025

Michelin-starred chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen to open Rosi at The Beaumont Mayfair in 2025

A new modern British restaurant is set to open at The Beaumont Mayfair in September 2025. Rosi is part of an overall revamp at the hotel, introducing a more contemporary and dynamic dining experience, and will be led by Michelin-starred chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, who was appointed culinary director in April. Goodwin-Allen is known for her work at Northcote in Lancashire, where she has helped maintain a Michelin star for over 20 years. She will collaborate with executive chef Brendan Fyldes, as well as executive head chef Jozef Rogulski, who previously spent eight years heading the kitchen at The Game Bird at The Stafford London.

The new venue is expected to offer a modern interpretation of British cuisine, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce. The menu will feature reimagined classics including seasonal pies (among them, a traditional-style pork version) and steaks sourced from English Wagyu Lake District beef and heritage Hereford herds. Desserts will feature interactive and theatrical elements, such as flamed sponge with custard and customisable sundaes. One standout dish, the Mayfair Millionaire’s Tart, is described as a playful nod to the affluence of the area.

The restaurant’s name pays tribute to Rosemary Saïd, wife of businessman and philanthropist Wafic Saïd, who owns The Beaumont. In contrast to the current restaurant, The Colony Grill, Rosi’s interior will feature a brighter and more characterful design, intended to be more inclusive and less traditionally masculine.

“Rosi represents everything we love about British dining: seasonal ingredients, timeless dishes and genuine warmth,” says CEO Stuart Procter. “With Lisa at the helm and Brendan and Jozef by her side, we’re bringing a new energy to The Beaumont and reimagining what dining in Mayfair can feel like.”

Goodwin-Allen commented: “I look forward to opening the doors to Rosi, it’s been a joy working with Stuart, Brendan and Jozef to help create my London home. Rosi is a restaurant where the menu is full of dishes you really want to eat, and the atmosphere is just as inviting. I hope Rosi will be embraced by Londoners, just as I have been.”
