Pulitzer Amsterdam has announced a new collaboration with New York-based fragrance house D.S. & Durga, launching this summer at the hotel’s Pulitzer’s Bar. The partnership introduces four new cocktails inspired by the perfume brand’s signature scents. Located along Amsterdam’s historic canals, the bar aims to merge the worlds of mixology and perfumery through this limited-edition list.

Pulitzer’s Bar, characterised by Art Deco design and setting within a series of 17th and 18th-century canal houses, has developed the drinks to reflect the aromatic profiles of four D.S. & Durga fragrances. Each cocktail is crafted to evoke the essence of a particular scent, using ingredients such as botanical distillates, aged liquors, and rare spices.

The signature cocktail, Debaser, takes its name and inspiration from D.S. & Durga’s fragrance of the same name. The drink is a light and floral combination of Jack Daniel’s Bonded, St-Germain, coconut, and figs.

Another offering, Cur Noir, draws from the brand’s Leatherize scent. It combines Pedro Ximénez, Punt e Mes, Black Tot rum, leather essence, and Campari, aiming to evoke the atmosphere of old books, velvet armchairs, and whispered secrets of forgotten stories.

Pistachio is based on D.S. & Durga’s namesake fragrance. The drink blends Woodford Reserve bourbon, pistachio, and citrus for a rich yet zesty profile.

The final cocktail, G&G, is inspired by the Grapefruit Generation scent and features grapefruit, Roku Gin, and ginger. It is intended to capture a taste of something rare and electric.

The cocktail menu is available exclusively at Pulitzer’s Bar, which operates seven days a week. The drinks are not available for takeaway or at any other venue.

This collaboration is part of a broader trend in hospitality where sensory experiences are being expanded beyond traditional boundaries. By combining fragrance and flavour, the hotel offers guests a new way of experiencing both.
