Il Bambini Club to open first UK restaurant at The Hoxton, Shoreditch in September

A new Italian restaurant, Il Bambini Club, is scheduled to open in Shoreditch this September. The trattoria, which origintated in Paris, will be located on the ground floor of The Hoxton hotel and marks the brand’s first entry into the UK scene. The launch aims to bring an all-day Mediterranean dining experience to the area, combining traditional dishes with a contemporary setting.

Il Bambini Club offers a vibrant atmosphere and a menu showcasing pasta, pizza and Italian drinks. The concept, which has existing locations in the French capital and the Alpine resort of Megève, is described by its founders as a “neo-osteria” – a modern take on the traditional Italian eatery. According to the team behind the project, the new branch will feature mid-week live music and interiors designed to reflect the country’s culture and hospitality, seeking to evoke the feel of being there on holiday. The restaurant will operate from morning until late, catering to casual dining for a range of occasions including lunch, dinner and drinks. Dishes are expected to include Tagliatelle al Tartufo, Milanese Cutlet and wood-fired pizzas. A curated drinks list will also be available, highlighting aperitivo-style cocktails and a selection of wines.

A spokesperson for the brand stated: “Whether popping in for a long, lazy lunch, pre-dinner negronis or a late-night bite with friends, the experience is designed to be joyful and generous from morning to midnight.”
