House of Gods to open first London hotel in Canary Wharf with rooftop bar and panoramic views

House of Gods, a boutique hotel group originating in Scotland, has announced it will open its third property in London this October. The new location in Canary Wharf will mark the brand’s first venture in the English capital, aiming to bring its signature design-led style and guest-focused ethos to one of London’s fastest-developing districts.
The new site will feature 79 rooms and suites, and will include a rooftop bar and restaurant called Sacred Garden – the first of its kind in the area, with a capacity of 300 and panoramic views over Eden Dock and the surrounding skyline. The hotel’s location also places it within easy reach of key cultural landmarks, including the Museum of London Docklands, Greenwich, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
Founder Mike Baxter said: “Since 2019, House of Gods has been built on a simple promise: every guest should be treated like they’re famous. At House of Gods, our guests aren’t just visitors, they’re the stars of the show. With our new hotel in Canary Wharf, we’re taking that philosophy to new heights. London is our boldest move yet and every detail has been designed to make guests feel truly celebrated. We look forward to opening the doors and introducing London to House of Gods.”
Ahead of the launch, the hotel has launched a promotional offer for guests booking before 23rd December 2025: those using the code VIP LONDON will receive additional amenities including a welcome drink, a £20 rooftop bar tab, in-room Prosecco and chocolates, a mimosa breakfast and late checkout.
