Campari has announced a nationwide programme of events across the UK to mark the 13th annual Negroni Week, taking place from 22nd to 28th September. The initiative, presented in partnership with Imbibe Magazine, will see more than 1,800 venues across the country offering Negroni-themed menus and activities. The week-long celebration aims to spotlight the iconic cocktail while supporting its official charitable partner, Slow Food.

The major focus of the festivities will be in London, where five bars have been chosen as official Negroni Lounges (alongside a host of other venues across the capital joining in the fun). The designated lounges include Equal Parts in Hackney, Bar Jackie at the Broadwick Hotel in Soho, Bar Brasso in Nine Elms, Nessa in Soho and Nightjar in Carnaby, each offering bespoke cocktail menus, live music (including DJ sets from Italo-disco artist Mind Enterprises scheduled between 23rd and 26th September) and creative workshops.

There are also some fine art elements in the programme, such as the opportunity to participate in a city-wide art trail, collecting limited-edition prints by artist Lena Yokoyama with the purchase of a Negroni. A standout event is Tell Me Over a Negroni, an immersive art experience hosted at Frameless in Marble Arch on 23rd September. Created in collaboration with digital art collective Ouchhh, the free event will convert guests’ sensory and emotional responses into digital artworks using real-time EEG data. Attendees will receive a personalised digital artwork and a complimentary Negroni (booking is required).

Beyond the capital, bars and restaurants across the UK will also participate. Offers include a £6 Negroni hour at all Alchemist locations and a new cocktail menu at Franco Manca and Rudy’s Pizza, featuring twists such as a Rhubarb & Apple Negroni.

Highlighting the London programme ahead of the week is a special takeover event at The Negroni Bar at The Alchemist, Monument on 18th September. Tommaso Cecca, head bartender at Milan’s historic Camparino in Galleria, will host the evening, serving two new Negroni variations alongside a Camparino classic. According to organisers, “Expect groundbreaking mixology, vibrant Italo disco tunes and unforgettable cocktails in a night where tradition meets flair.” The event begins at 6.30pm and includes a complimentary drink for guests who RSVP.
